Eclipse 32 Bit Java

  • I was trying to use 64-bit Eclipse on a WIn64 PC, but I guess I had 32-bit Java. Anyways, switched to 32-bit Eclipse, and all is well. RawInput Jan 5 '15 at 6:13 – I also saw this. Notably the evil installer had installed 32-bit Java on win64 without any notice about it.
  • Solution 3: Remove the Path Variable for Java. If you have both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of Java installed on your computer, Eclipse may get confused trying to figure out which one to use. For example, if a 64-bit version of Eclipse tries to use the 32-bit version of Java, a problem will appear.

  • Click on Servers Tab
  • Click on No servers are available. Click this link to create a new server...
  • Click Tomcat v8.0 Server and Next


Select Apache installation Directory and click Finish.


You should see Tomcat v8.0 Server at localhost [Stopped, Republish] under Servers tab.


Now select the Server and click Start.
